Falcao’s future up in the air

The Colombian stellar striker‘s future is up in the air again as his agent stated that Falcao may leave Old Trafford next season. Radamel Falcao was brought in United squad from Monaco for a £6m season-long loan in September, last year. He earns a salubrious emolument of £1,060,000 a month in Old Trafford. So far Falcao has made only thirteen appearances in United kit and he has netted three goals and provided three assists in them.

Mendes — Falcao’s agent said:

‘I don’t know (if he will stay). He is a fantastic player and I think it’s very difficult for Manchester United fans — they have an absolutely brilliant player, one of the very best in the world, who would without any doubt play 90 minutes, every time, with any other club.

‘The truth is, now, we don’t know what will happen. What we do know is that he will play for one of the very best clubs in the world next season, whether that is Manchester United or not. I am 100 per cent sure of that. But you know how football works — we’ll see what happens.’

He was dropped from Red Devils 18-man squad against Southampton which saw them losing 1-0 and moving lower to 4th spot in Premier League. Later, Van Gaal told the media that Falcao was dropped because of tactical reasons, not because of any injury. Rumors are rife that Falcao seemed furious with this decision and stormed out after the match, saying to his agent that he doesn’t wants to play for United anymore.

Falcao has already decided he will not be returning to Monaco, who he joined for a reported £50m in May 2013 after prolific spells at Atletico Madrid and Porto. He is being targeted by number of Serie A clubs, particularly the champions, Juventus.
