  • Florin Gardos is in line to make his first Premier League start for Saints after replacing Maya Yoshida at half time in the 1-0 win over Swansea last weekend and playing the full 90 against Arsenal on Tuesday.
  • Toby Alderweireld and Yoshida are both doubts and will be assessed closer to kick off.
  • However, Ronald Koeman will be without Jay Rodriguez, Sam Gallagher, James Ward-Prowse and Lloyd Isgrove through injury.


Queens Park Rangers
  • QPR twice came from behind to secure a point in the 2-2 draw with Stoke on Saturday and Harry Redknapp will demand a much improved defensive performance from his side.
  • The R’s will be without long-term absentee Alejandro Faurlin, while Jordon Mutch and skipper Joey Barton will also miss the trip to St. Mary’s.
  • Sandro and Niko Kranjcar are doubts, but should be fit to feature.
