Transfer news: Arsene Wenger plotting summer move for Hugh Lloris

The Tottenham and French superstar Hugo Lloris is indeed one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League. According to latest reports from English media, the Gunners are on the lookout for him after the recent poor performances and frustrating disciplinary issues of Woijech Szczesny. The Spanish giants, Real Madrid, and Ligue 1 champions Paris-Saint Germain, have also shown ardent interest in French shotstopper. So, Wenger will have to battle Lloris out with Los Blancos and PSG.

Lloris has been the Gunners’ target since 2012 when Arsenal competed with Spurs for the Frenchman’s move from Lyon. In the end, the Spurs won the race and now the 28-year-old goalkeeper is contracted to the club until the summer of 2019. The French shot stopper has shown some impressive performances consistently throughout his time in White Hart Lane. Hugo Lloris has played every minute of this season for Tottenham Hotspurs and has provided six cleansheets in the process. And Spurs’ manager, Mauricio Pochettino, believes that Hugo Lloris is one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

So, it seems highly unlikely that Tottenham will give their star player to their most fierce rivals in the world. However, it is being speculated that Wenger is tabling up a 25 million euros bid to seduce Lloris in their squad.
