One of the biggest transfer wishes from Louis van Gaal in the summer transfer window was Roma’s midfielder Kevin Strootman, who was also a part of Dutch national team when Van Gaal was in charge.

Strootman finally got back on the field after a serious knee injury which left him out of the World Cup and if Van Gaal starts looking for one more midfielder in January, there is no question about it that his compatriot will be the main target.

Anyhow, a photograph of Strootman playing Football Manager appeared on the web - if you look closer, you’ll see that the Dutchman chose Manchester United.

A secret wish, anticipation of a future transfer or just a jest? Time will tell – for now, Strootman proclaimed his wish to play for Barcelona or Real Madrid in the future.
